You are the pilot

The person operating the drone is responsible for every flight: following the law and the airspace rules where you fly, obtaining any required registration, training, permission or insurance, keeping the drone in sight when the law requires it, checking the weather, the area and the drone before take-off, and being ready to take manual control at any time. Gapless sends flight commands to your drone; it does not replace your judgement.

Safety features are aids, not guarantees

The app checks the battery, GPS, signal, height limit and other conditions and stops or returns the drone when it detects a problem, and the drone's own DJI safety features stay active. None of these can prevent every accident. Do not fly over people, near obstacles or in conditions you would not fly manually.

Mapping results

Gapless helps you capture photos for mapping. It is not survey-grade equipment and does not replace ground control points, RTK or a licensed surveyor where those are required. Coverage checks are based on the photos' metadata and may be wrong.

Free download, Early Access

The app is free to download. During Early Access all features are free. Paid features may be introduced later; your saved missions and data will never be locked. Purchases and refunds are handled by Google Play.

No warranty, limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for damage to the drone, other property or persons, for lost data or for lost business resulting from the use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country that cannot be excluded.

Availability

The app is offered only in selected countries. Support for drone models, controllers, phones and DJI software versions may change.
